- Mastiffs & Drevers -

Ringo is one of those once in a lifetime dogs.  
I will NEVER be able to thank his breeder, Cynthia Seeling of Westarr Drevers,
enough for the opportunity to make Ringo a part of our lives.  
He has fit into our family as if he always belonged.  
He considers himself to be one of the Mastiffs.  
He has taught me so much.  
He is goofy yet wise, exuberant yet content to snuggle, adoring yet aloof.
I had wanted a show dog and he has fulfilled my every wish.  
He has willingly entered into the world of Barn Hunt with me, learning as I learn.  

In everything he does...he makes friends, brings smiles
and shares the world of Drevers with all he meets.

​Ringo has set the bar very high for us. 
He has become the First Drever to reach a number of goals:​
AKC Certificate of Merit (the most recent achievement)
AKC Best in Show (plus many group placements)
UKC Champion & Grand Champion 
UKC Best in Show (plus many group placements and Reserve Best in Show)
UKC Steeplechase Apptitude (that is the USA before his name)
Barn Hunt Instinct Test (RATI)

On one of our first trips, Ringo went to visit Grandma and Emily.  He took no time at all to make friends and snuggle up to her!

Here is a sampling of Ringo's show photos from his first show,

as a baby puppy, a number of nice wins in Canada and the States as he matured, to a couple of his win photos from Premier where he won a Group 3 & 2 Group 2s & also made it to the Top Ten finals, Best in Show at the Washington Classic in July, 2017, 2 of his Back to Back AKC Best in Open Show wins and his 2 Group Placements at the AKC Open Shows held in conjunction with the AKC National Championships in Orlando, Florida.

One of the sports that Drevers absolutely LOVE is Fast CAT.  Here they get to run 100 yards chasing a 'bunny' (really a plastic bag but don't tell them that).  Drevers LOVE to run and this sport is right up their alley!  Here is Ringo doing it for the first time.

Ringo and I have traveled all over the US sharing the Drevers with the rest of the country.  Between showing and Breed Education...we hope that at least a few out there are able to say that they got to have the pleasure of meeting one of this fantastic breed.  In our travels, we have gone from Sunset on the beach in San Diego, CA to Sunrise on the beach in Orlando, FL.

As you can see, Ringo participates in the sport of Barn Hunt, too.  
​He has completed his Instinct and Novice titles and is currently working on his Open title.

Drevers LOVE to run and Ringo is no exception.  He is pictured here as a puppy with sister, Dollie, hot on his heels.  We call it the Drever races...one of their favorite past times!
